Review of Tell No One (2006) by Sean M — 03 Apr 2009
Finally a movie thriller that appeals to the intellect. Wonderfully intricate and complex, it requires complete attention from the viewer, but is highly rewarding. Has some fantastic action scenes as well, but is fairly restrained in its depiction of violence.
This isn't like a Hollywood thriller, relying soley on crash-boom-bang visceral impact. It concentrates on plot, character and motivation to grab you and pull you in. This is based on a Harlan Coben novel, which I haven't read, but it plays out in the manner of a good book.
Highly recommended.
