I am impressed with the fight scenes that were carefully shot and the way the plot is told mainly about the story of the lead character, Jin. As a fan of the game, I say this one is successful in adapting a video game story to movie unlike other same theme movies who have major glitches and numerous subplots that clouds the real story.
Though there are some expectations not met like change of plot and/or hollow story, I'm sure that this adaptation is a decent one for a very popular video game and making a sequel is not a bad idea.
(It has a cliffhanging ending sequence.).
