Ooh-hoohoo! Most of my male friends refuse to watch this with me. I wonder why. I find something deliciously snarky about the way this story is told: a very clean-cut girl who subscribes to a rather repressive version of contemporary Christianity discovers that she has vagina dentata after an attempted rape.

This movie is filled with tongue-in-cheek humour and I delight to no end in how she comes to terms with her anatomical weapon. What a great and very novel new horror film. There is hope for the genre yet!
