The film starts off really well, as a sort of coming of age drama with a Tim Burton'esque quality to it... it then hits a weird note and just goes off down an odd path. It doesn't paint anyone in the film in a good light... especially Men, as they all appear to be rapists! The second half makes you question whether what you are seeing is real or in the head of the female lead... and this is where it lost me.

At times the film was quite clever... then it wasn't. At times I felt offended by the material, and then I laughed. It really is one of those films that you are never quite sure about.

Jess Weixler in the lead role was really well cast and did a cracking job... as did most of the other actors... it's a shame it just didn't gel for me.
