Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) by Lou A — 12 Oct 2016
A huge step above its predecessor, this fun and nostalgic blockbuster is almost a direct live-action adaption of the 90s cartoon. The comradarie between the four brothers is more present than ever, and they even display a sense of internal conflict that is very insightful for a film of this sort.
Bebop and Rocksteady also make a fun duo for the turtles to go up against, and the action sequences are undeniably impressive. Old school fans and their younger counterparts should both have a gleeful time.
