This is NOT a great movie, by movie standards. However, by the standard of it being about humanoid turtles and was adapted from an 80's franchise that was absurd when it was created, it's not half bad.
At least we get a terrific rendition of Bebop and Rocksteady! The plot is fractured and they insist on throwing in a dimensional portal the film didn't need, but it's not an awful film.
I mean, seriously. You went to a movie about ninja turtles. Let's manage expectations here.
