Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) by Madmaxfuryroad — 03 Jun 2016
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is an overall decent film, which is pretty much the same as the original. Now I liked the original thinking it was pretty fun and this is basically the same movie.
It's fun, of course, and there are a lot of cool scenes with some humor; but the villains in this film really didn't do a great job. The acting for the villains were bland and all of them except for Krank felt like they had no real power.
The film's length was just perfect, not too long or short. However, on the bright side, the turtles were what I expected. They were amazing and fun to watch. Megan Fox was good in this film as well as Stephen Amell.
Overall, I guess TMNT2 was a pretty decent summer kickoff movie and was pretty much around the same level as the first one.
