Out of the Shadows is a step up from the first TNMT film from a couple years ago but it is still nothing to be excited about. There was too much idiocy for me to ignore, too much misuse of characters and too much absurdity of their actions.

I suppose if you were a fan of the old 80s cartoon you might get a nostalgia high from this but if not its just Transformers lite and that is not a good thing at all. At least the Turtles play a more prominent role and irritants like Megan Fox and Will Arnett play lesser roles but their presence still grates on the nerves.
