Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993) by Jon T — 27 Jun 2013
The turtles travel back in time to feudal Japan. No, seriously. That's the whole idea behind this dull, uninteresting three-quel. Even the puppetry work (which was not even done by Henson) falls flat.
The whole adventure doesn't even feel like a genuine Turtles movie, just a low-rent samurai flick with the title characters thrown in just because. That it's not even remotely interesting also drives this "half-shelled" dreck down into the sewers.
