Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991) by James R — 29 Dec 2010

You know what after watching this movie I actually was quite pleased in saying it was very entertaining. The movie was not well taken in by critics, but you know what it was super fun just to watch.

The movie takes place right after the first movie with the turtles still looking for a new home. The movie has a bare bones story, so don't expect too much. There's a lot of cheesy jokes and a lot moments are super corny, buts it's expected. The action is actually very decent with pretty cool martial arts mixed in.

The shredder is back and has started using the ooze that turned the turtles into who they are on experiments. New mutant baddies show up, but really don't add anything to the movie.

One of the funniest scenes is a club scene where Vanilla Ice is performing and the turtles fight and break out in synchronized dance...yeah you know what to expect.

Take a look if you liked the original movie this one is fun just don't expect too much.
