Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991) by Carlos D — 13 Apr 2013
Not nearly as good as the first one. Instead of looking at the cartoons and other media for another villain, they just decided to make up some bizarre story to make the old villain somehow come back to life. The "secret of the ooze" was just as disappointing as Spider-Man's "untold story." Even the turtles complain that they wish there was more to it. And is that a new actor for Donatello? It's like they completely changed his character! At least it matches, though, with other media, but they should have done this in the first one.
It still has the same humor and memorable moments from the first one, but they changed the costumes, a character, and kept the same story.
