It's not as bad as it could have been, but it's still a huge, heaping pile of...dull. Or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Nothings. There is not enough charisma in this whole movie that give charm to the characters and the reinvention of some of the backstory makes little to no sense in terms of logic.
