Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) by Mike T — 18 Mar 2015

Lots of action, stunts, humor, explosions and amazing hd graphics like the world has never seen. There was a bit of silliness in this movie, but it didn't quite have the dark brooding feel of the better turtles movies, I guess that's a good thing but if someone can say none of the TMNT movies were any good, this one was another solid but unspectacular addition to a silly and cartoony movie franchise.

It was a lot of fun, and it was lighter and less dark than the earlier turtles movies. The best thing about this was the robotic storytelling, the amazing hd graphics, the 3d and the surprisingly complex action unfolding.

It was perfect, although it didn't totally charm me, I will have to see it again to see all the different stuff happening that isn't always available to me on the first viewing. It was fun, kiddy stuff.

Definitely worth watching for the 3d alone. It was a huge Bay-fest of amazing movie storytelling and it had everything anyone could want!!! It didn't have any boring parts, and didn't have any sneaky parts, and certainly was not a bad movie or a dull movie, the kind that sneaky high school drama queers would like.

I am not gay, therefore, being highly amusing, loved this movie for what it was - a huge, unbelievable, thrill ride without much drama or any poetic liscense basically it was a little bit warped, a huge inspiration, a wonderful movie that has something for everyone! It was a lot better than I gave it any credit for last year and to be honest, this new TMNT was the real deal and gave this man everything he ever wanted in a cheesy movie!!! It was superb and brilliant! I loved the huge shredding villain, with that sneaky evil "jerk" William whatshisname, he actually impressed in that he wasn't a total ogre but was a respectable villain.

And the ending on top of the building was something out of a dream and I recommend this movie to people that have taste in fantasy sports and fantasy movies and delusional vacation sports and Nintendo puzzles.

It is all a lot better than a lot of jerks and chefs and wonderful people give it credit for and I am happy to get a wonderful, Transformers style obnoxious but scary and perfect yet moving wonderful tasteful impactful genie of a puzzling, exotic and breathtaking slow, plodding, unangry, and quiet movie with some bizarre and huge dark turns for this comedic man.
