The 90's turtle are still the best, but this one is not nearly as bad as the critics said. A story about 4 Nina fighting talking turtles is not going to win oscars. This movie is fun despite itself.
It at times tries too hard, but it's very fun when it's just the turtles or a fight scene with whatever bad guy they are fighting. The turtles have some pretty funny dialog and Megan Fox is it bad as April.
Just watch it and enjoy and don't spend time trying to compare to other movies or the comics.
