Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) by Wingedkitsune — 08 Aug 2014
I went into this movie expecting the absolute worst out of it. But wouldn't you know it? I was absolutely wrong! I expected the worst, but I also decided to give the movie a fair chance, and I wasn't sorry I did. All of the people out there crying about how the turtles look and just because Megan Fox and her terrible acting are in the movie, you're missing out. Megan Fox's terrible acting didn't ruin the movie, in fact in spite of her I really enjoyed it, aside from the horrible back story about Splinter and the Turtles being April's pets.
I highly recommend to people to give the movie a fair chance before they just flat out disregard the movie. The movie had a lot of funny moments, most of which were Mikey related. Is this a perfect movie? Not by a long shot, but it is enjoyable if you give it a chance. If this movie hadn't be produced by Michael Bay and some unknown director I never heard of, it could have been a lot better, especially if they had stuck to the comic book origin story. My advice is, go into this movie giving it a fair chance, it might just surprise you.
