Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) by Skykappah — 04 Nov 2014
What's the beef? Just switch on the child in yo self and enjoy! It's by far the best TMNT movie and completely updates really well. The turtles are great and it wasn't long until I forgot about the lips. Yeah the hated turtle lips! "Stupid", I initially thought of the leaked pictures, but it doesn't take long until the turtle's charm and humour take over. So yeah this is a great paced comedy-action movie that's not trying to be something else.
And don't get me started on faithfulness... Each Turtle's rendition/retelling has been different from the next. This compliments the whole franchise really well and I put this amongst the top of the pile.
Everybody falls into their roles perfectly and yes.. Even Megan Fox. She starts off shaky but soon she is a believable April O'neil. There's not much else I can say about the Turtles and Splinter... Except that they absolutely kick ass.
All I need to end this with is that I had a great time and the haters were watching a completely different movie or they let their grump take over big-time. Just watch it.
