Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) by Michael K — 14 Feb 2015
After the movie I saw in the credits that Michael Bay was executive producer, this makes sense as it is another attempt by Bay to ruin something that I liked from my childhood. I wouldn't say the movie was bad but I can't say it is good either.
I like how they Turtles were done they looked great and they were very much how I pictured the original idea of the turtles. The weakness comes from the overall story and poor execution of using the turtles, where the Marvel movies succeed, TMNT failed.
Overall I'm glad I watched TMNT and I think they could make another one better, but this one does not meet my expectations.
