Review of Teen Witch (1989) by Adrian T — 19 Apr 2006
Oh the 80's. The Music. The Fashion. The Hair. Lemme tell ya, I saw more side pony tails in this movie than I ever saw growing up! The story's been done before - dorky chick wants to be popular.
She becomes popular. She's not super happy being popular. Kids, being popular isn't all it's cracked up to be. The only difference is that in this version of the story, our heroine Louise happens to be a witch.
Absolutely hysterical in it's awfulness - check out the 'Top That' rap-off. Choice shit. If you loved it in the 80's, you'll flip over it now. Shame about the ugly new cover art. They somehow managed to make Robyn Lively look somewhat like a pig (and that girl is one hot bitch) riding a broomstick.
There wasn't one broomstick in the whole damn movie! WTF??!?!?
