Review of Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (2018) by Jenny S — 30 Jul 2018
Saw most of this (fell asleep) with my 8 year old granddaughter. Everything about it is bad: The animation is flat, graphic novel level. The characters are trying far too hard to have personalities. The writing is sophomoric.
I laughed twice before my nap. There was another couple in the theater, a father and young son. When my granddaughter woke me to say, "Can we go? This is so boring!" , I noticed the father was sound asleep and the child trying to wake him too.
Apparently the only other person in the theater had left while I napped. Some of the songs are nice old hits. It was really a waste of time and money. It does have violence, and the moral of the story is -- oh, who cares? Something like "Don't leave your friends behind when you look for fame.
" Worthless.
