Review of Ted Bundy (2002) by Vincent O — 10 Oct 2009
Yet another compelling drama of a notorious mass murderer. This time it's the very worst of them them all and bad to the bone, Mr Theodore (Ted) Bundy. The grizzly subject matter is handled with expertise, never exploitive and thankfully understated and necessarily restrained.
The truth and violent nature of these slayings were utterly and truly shocking, with some of the most brutal sex attacks ever committed (simply horrendous). This film is concluded by a disturbing electrocution scene but Ted Bundy himself became suh a strong candidate for the rights of capital punishment and the planet is a far lighter place without him.
Begs the question why did they keep letting him escape?
