Review of Ted 2 (2015) by Lukechristiansc — 01 Jul 2015
Ted is back as the fail mouth, crude, weed-smoking teddy bear who throws out jokey one liners once again voiced by co-writer/director Seth MacFarlane. The script written by Seth MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, the script doesn't shout out "original" like in the first one, yes it does have a good premise just I think the writers could have made another raunchy fairy tale story with Ted in it.
Mark Wahlberg and MacFarlane have some on set chemistry, it's hilarious and charming. So Ted (Seth MacFarlane) is married to Tammy-Lynn (Jessica Barth) and Ted wants a baby to save their marriage, but they can't do it because the law declares Ted to be property and not a person.
So Ted wants John (Mark Whalberg) and a young lawyer (Amanda Seyfried) and a legendary, civil-rights attorney (Morgan Freeman) to get the justice he deserves. The jokes in the film are gust busting and it's laugh out loud raunchy comedy filled with R-rated humor.
Amanda Seyfried was good to she was the third person in the film who had the best jokes; Mark Whalberg was funny as hell and had a great performance. Everyone saying that this film was better than "A Millions ways to die in the west" It was but "a millions ways to die in the west" was funny and it's not MacFarlane's worst film.
