Ted must prove he is 'human' in court so he and his wife can have a baby.
Ted 2 follows a similar formula to the original film but with more gags and humour to keep it interesting and somewhat fresh. While Mila Kunis is noticeably missing, and conveniently written out of the story, Amanda Seyfried fills the void with her character as Ted's lawyer.
The main story is about Ted attempting to prove he is human so that he can have a child with Tami-Lynn, but through this somewhat weak story are plenty of opportunities for unfortunate accidents and hilarity to ensue.
