Ted 2 is the sequel the the widely successful and hysterical comedy Ted. directed by and starring Seth MacFarlane as the Teddy bear that came to life and became best friends with Mark Wahlberg. I loved the original and think it is a very funny movie. The comedy still hits me.
Ted 2 isn't all that good. There are a few great laughs here and there but not enough the satisfy the viewer all the way through. the performances are good and the chemistry between the three characters is great.
I think Seth MacFarlane is actually a very talented director. He can compose interesting shots and the hand held in one scene was actually pretty good. I would like to see him direct something different in the future if given the chance. Possibly an action movie.
The script in this movie isn't as good as the first. the jokes are very repetitive and lazy in this film. A lot of poop and weed jokes. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they arent.
All of the cameos in this movie were really funny I thought. they were the best part. Liam Neeson's was dumb but it got a laugh from me so it was ok.
Overall, I will probably never watch this movie again because I don't think I'll laugh again. it had some funny moments but I think it failed as a comedy. It isn't as bad as A Million Ways to Die in the West, but it still is a bad sequel. the redeeming qualities are the cameos and the chemistry between the actors.
