Well directed and well acted, and the action is quite good. Unfortunately, soldiers trekking through the jungle isn't the freshest premise on the shelf, and this film does nothing to make itself stand out from that template.
Because the characters are so uninteresting, most of the movie has the same plodding pace as an -actual- march through the jungle. Things pick up once the shooting starts, but I shouldn't have to sit through an hour of a movie to be interested again.
