Review of Tears of the Sun (2003) by Danny L — 11 Apr 2009
A film both factually accurate (seal tactics) and ludicrous (geography & context). Willis and his team of Navy Seals turn out for refuges who are victims of inhumane treatment. I was thinking I'd spend most of my time asleep by the cliches of war-thriller films, but alas I found myself concerned for the characters, angry by africa and surprisingly enjoying the box-office climax.
