Review of Tears of the Sun (2003) by Jess B — 13 Jul 2009
Okay, so I also watched a few trashy flicks on late night TV on my honeymoon while digesting a few margaritas.
I have to say, though, that it you are going to watch a sappy, poorly written and directed war/action film, it might as well be one that attempts, even if in a hamhanded way, to draw attention to conflicts in parts of the world most Americans tend to ignore. The core message here is a good one and I kind of like this movie in spite of itself. Besides, who doesn't love Bruce Willis, anyway? ;).
