My second attempt at watching a mumblecore movie all the way through, and it came painfully close to becoming my second failure. Which tells you that it's better than Hannah Takes the Stairs, but that's not saying much.
Flat characters, mediocre acting (At best. The breakup scene in the beginning made me want to break my screen), but once the romance picked up (more than halfway through the movie, far too late to establish a plot) it managed to redeem itself.
