Review of Team America: World Police (2004) by Brad C — 15 May 2010

You'll be saying F*** YEAH! through this movie as it offers enough clever puppetry and laughs to satisfy any moviegoer. Team America: World Police is Matt Stone and Trey Parker's latest big screen movie in a while. For those of you who don't know who these two are, they are the creators of South Park, so naturally, you'd guess this film is filled with obsinities, offensive scenes, satire, F.A.G.s and constant puns directed at Hollywood. And you know what? You couldn't be more right. I mean really, this film was extremely funny and filled with many anti-liberal messages, which most of South Park's viewers like anyway. Even a memorable performance by Kim Jong Il is in this movie. Obviously the story is lacking, but hey, it's a satire, and story is the last thing on Parker and Stone's mind. Point is, this is a movie worth seeing, as long as you have a good sense of humor, hate Hollywood, and love America.

Final word: A definite watch. Get ready to laugh.
