Review of Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999) by Mec R — 20 Mar 2008
So so and far fetched tale of a ice-hearted teacher and the accidental escalation of a bad situation that leads three students to hold her hostage. Molly Ringwald and Vivica Fox play bit-parts as other teachers.
Both are looking good, but sadly Ringwald's acting hasn't improved over the years and she gets more screentime than Fox. She still looks almost as cute as she did back in the day. :) Helen Mirren is the best thing about the movie.
She plays the titular role fantastically. Not a terribly way to waste a couple hours, but not a blockbuster either. Plenty of other better hostage movies out there. hah.
