Review of Taxidermia (2006) by Sarra S — 08 Apr 2010
Visceral to the point where even the most avid horror fan would be brought to speechlessness. There is nothing ordinary about this art house horror that tests not only your endurance for the visceral but your willingness in accepting absurdity.
As much as I wanted to hate it, I found it profoundly fascinating about how unsettling this is. The characters and plot are thinly drawn but it's atmosphere was superb and reaches the shock value it seeks.
