Review of Taxi to the Dark Side (2008) by Sylvain F — 12 Mar 2008
There's always been a sense that when a documentary wins an oscar, it's more because of the subject matter than the actual filmmaking. Such is the case here... It's a good movie but nothing special.
However, the subject is extremely important as it is a great gathering of information on the U.S' illegal use of torture in a post 911 world, using this taxi driver as a perfect example of the injustice that goes on.
Needless to say that there sure better be some people put in jail after the next election!
