Question: Since when does the United States military torture people to death? Answer: Bush and Cheney deliberately voided the Geneva Convention, so it occurs in Afghanistan and Iraq. One may assume only people known to be guilty and dangerous would be tortured, but this film shows someone who was innocent without any evidence against him was brutally tortured for five days until he died.
Should we find solace that some of those who committed the torture were given short prison sentences? And as long as Bush and Cheney remain in power it could happen again.
