At this point, the film doesn't tell us much we don't already know. It basically pulls from numerous news sources to give one thorough examination of a particular situation that summarizes the nation's approach to torture.
A few places in the film get very real and eye-opening and appalling. But mostly it's just a factual account and not especially shocking.
