Review of Taxi Driver (1976) by Scottie T — 13 May 2015

Taxi Driver! This movie has everything you could want in a movie! Outstanding performances from Robert DeNiro and Jodie Foster who actually both got nominated for adacamy awards! So great acting, a great screenplay and script, it was brilliant and it also had one of the best characters in cinema history was Travis Bickle! a damaged war marine, who practicly goes apeshit on a pimp, best shit ever.

The score was fantastic, one of the best score's I have ever heard in my life. It totally matched the tone of the movie and really added alot to the feel of this film. The cinematography was pretty good, this film is beautiful, while it looks dirty.

The framing is perfect almost every shot and the pans and zooms in this film are excellent and worked perfectly and I would have wanted to do it the exact same way. The direction is so good and flawless, he just made the movie well, and made people capture what his life really was, and made it feel so real, I felt like I was in travis' perspective sometimes and I just get dragged right into the movie as soon as I started.

So, if you havent seen this movie yet, I strongly reccomend you do, and don't forget! Vote Pallentine for president!
