Review of Taxi Driver (1954) by Brian W — 22 Nov 2012
The greatest character study of all time. Scorsese's masterpiece not only shows the genius of his filmmaking, but one of the greatest acting performances of all time from a young Robert De Niro. Showing a violent story in somewhat poetic in a way, with a beautiful score from Bernard Hermann to float throughout the film with sexy sax.
One of the few perfect films around, masterpiece!
