The second De Niro/Scorsese collaboration, and one that took the potential shown in Mean Streets and lived up to all of it. Just a brilliant film, and De Niro give an all-time great performance, carrying the entire film (in fact, he is in nearly every scene, and the two or three he is not are all fairly short.
).
