TAXI.

This movie never gets old! Seriously! I still laugh my ass off while watching it! I am still amazed by the choreography in this movie. It is by far the best I have ever seen!

This review is going to be a pleasure to write. I can t imagine how swell this is going to be! Here I go. Wish me luck baby!

Do I love this movie? Yes.

Is this movie awesome? Yes.

Have I seen it more than 20 times before? Why, yes I have indeed.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, THIS WILL BE a great time to download it and see it. I not only recommend it with the whole of my heart, I demand it! I demand that you see this movie! You owe it to yourself to see this movie, you.

Really and truly do.

Ok, let us get to it. Lets start with the basics. Like music, environment, storyline, acting, the shooting of the movie, directing, etcetera.

I like music, no, that is a gross understatement! I love music! I could not imagine a world without music or what that would be like, but I am sure that it would not be a world I would want to live in. I find music along with sound and sound effects and other effects of course, I find it gives the movie life, If you know what I mean. It gives the movie a certain boost of some kind. It really brings it to life.

The music in this brilliancy of a movie was great. It fit the scenes and the story. It brought the moods out in the light like it is supposed to, so you can tell what kind of situation it is. Is it a sad one? Is it a serious one? Is it a funny one? What is it? The music gives you the answers to that, with some help from the effects and stuff of course.

Allrighty then, let us take on the story or the storyline of the movie "Taxi". Let me just start by saying Luc Besson is a genius for thinking of this. It gave me a whole new perspective of French writers and directors. It opened my eyes to the whole wide world. Before, I was narrow-minded, but now I can see it all for what it really is. There is something positive and negative with everything. Every nation has its heroes and brilliant minds. Every genre of music has its kings and queens, but also tone-deaf cadavers. Basically everything and everyone has both good and bad sides, something or someone has a little more good than bad and vice-versa, but I am rambling. What I am trying to say is that; this storyline is a unbelievably brilliant one. As simple as that.

As I might have forgotten to mention, Queen Latifah plays the main character in this movie. Yes, the first lady of Hip-hop! You know it. As you can imagine she puts on quite the show for us. She did a fabulous job acting and it couldn't have been done any better. I seriously doubt anyone in the whole wide freaking world could have done a better job as the cabdriver Belle Williams. So, to shorten it a bit: she did good!

Jimmy Fallon also played a pretty big part in this great movie. He did a really good job as well. He is a good actor, there is no hiding that. His character is a pretty hard one to play, most likely the hardest one in the movie. Not that Queen Latifah's part is easy or anything, but it is just not as hard as this one. Basically; great job over here as well.

Now, to the other actors. They did a bang-up job too. I feel like I am repeating myself, but it is what is true. They all did wonderful jobs as the characters they were, whether it be a Brazilian hot girl or a lovely mother with a personality that I personally find spotless and love. Oh, and did I mention that she had a little problem.

Christian Kane, Jennifer Esposito and Henry Simmons all did great jobs. And so did the Brazilian Gizele Bündchen, the Portuguese Ana Cristina de Oliveira, the Belgian Ingrid Vandebosch and the French Magali Amadei. They are actually all models, or so I think. Not Kane, Esposito or Simmons, but the last four.

My favorite of the "other actors" have to be the Swedish Ann Margret. She did such a fantastic job in her character I am as astonished each time I see the movie. You can not prepare for such greatness! It can not be done! Her character juices up the movie! It honestly truly does in some way I will never understand. Her job in this movie is beyond comparison and 100% indescribable! Yes, it was that good! Yes, she is that great!

The shooting of the movie was, how to put this in a simple matter? I think "Awesome" and "Close to perfection" both fit pretty good. And the environment and locations of the shooting is simply brilliant. If you feel I use the word "Brilliant" to much you have to excuse me, I just say, or write, what I think, so, if the word brilliant pops into mind a couple of times to much, that is not my fault (entirely). The shooting was as I said before nearly perfect.

What can I really say about the directing other than that it was absolutely fantastic! I can not think of anything else to say. So, I am going to leave it at that.

The choreography. Oh, the choreography! It is THE BEST I have ever seen! No kidding. And I have seen more movies and TV-shows than most people would think, so, that says quite a lot about the brilliancy of this choreography. There is one word that pops into mind when I think of this choreography and that is "GODLIKE!".

The movie itself was simply magnificent! It was filled with greatness, brilliancy, godlike choreography, thrilling action, awesome car chases, hilarious moments, colorful characters with unique personalities, memorable comments and a screenplay out of this world!

That was 97 minutes well spent. Watching Queen Latifah rock the streets of New York dragging the incompetent ass of Mr. Jimmy Fallon with her, while eating Pasta Carbonara in my favorite sofa under my best and warmest blanket, with a bowl of chocolates and a bowl of potato chips waiting for me to finish my homemade piece of pasta heaven, but this review is not about my dinner, cooking or skills in the kitchen, nor is it about my unhealthy habits in the living room, it is however about the movie, no, masterpiece of a movie "Taxi" originally written by the absolutely brilliant Frenchman Luc Besson, rewritten by the also brilliant American writer Robert Ben Garant, with the help of Thomas Lennon and Jim Kouf.

This movie may well be the greatness and awesomeness itself. I recommend and demand you to watch this movie! If you do not watch this movie you will regret it, at least you should.

As this is one of the best movies I have ever seen, you can guess how many stars I am giving it. Yeah, you guessed it, ten out of ten. A perfect ten! It does deserve it, if you don't believe me, watch the movie and tell me again. You WILL change your mind.

I just need to thank Luc Besson for writing the original screenplay to the movie "Taxi" and Robert Ben Garant for re-writing it and giving it an American touch, Thank you both so very much!

This was J.J. Shevy and I thank you too, for reading my review and possibly for rating it no matter what you rated it, thank you. Now, my fingers are starting to cramp up and it is already gotten late, and I have to get up early tomorrow, so I now say good night, sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite. In other words:

Bon soir, Buenos noches, Guten nacht, God natt.

*Please correct me if my French, English, Spannish, Norwegian or German is bad*.

Yours truly.

- Shevy.
