So many overly harsh reviews. I found "Tau" to be an unexpected gem. Filled a deep hole in my psyche caused by a lack of good sci-fi lately, so rounding my 7.5 up instead of down. The leading lady was convincingly strong, the AI voice acting made me feel something for it, and the human male lead was thoroughly contemptible.
