Review of Tashan (2008) by Rifat A — 26 May 2008
Adi Chopra has managed to make the entire film on high-grade Hardwar hallucinogenics, yielding a lurid vision of violence and absurdity set against the crudity of 'bhaiyya' culture. Not half bad as a story, this film suffered from a slapdash screenplay.
The fight sequences are a clever reprise of every improbable 'dishum-dishum' formula of the 80s. Anil Kapoor still stands a chance of going down in filmi history as the cult figure of Bhaiyaji.
