Review of Tarzan and the Golden Lion (1927) by Joel A — 17 Jul 2010
Very corny in parts, but made for one purpose...purely to entertain and it did. The film itself wasn't that great but the animal trainning they must have had on set was second to none, the lion was so well trained.
The film had a unique green tint to it, I assume because it was jungle picture, the acting was a little silly but you just got to watch it for what it is.
Keep an eye out for the climax in the temple, I believe the whole temple is a set piece, but they pulled it off quite well...
