Review of Tarzan (1999) by Matthew Samuel M — 27 Jul 2012
It is well drawn and the songs are beautiful, but the story is fairly uneven, jumping from the absurd to the probable. The film tries to place the characters in a period of history. It's hard, however, to get past the talking elephant (the apes of course can talk to Tarzan because he was raised by them).
