Review of Tartuffe (1926) by Michael A — 06 Apr 2010
I was lucky enough to watch this accompanied by live orchestra because of Germany Ambassador's event here in Jakarta. Another great films from one of cinema's greatest silent directors. Murnau's Tartuffe isn't just a film inside a film, it's a moral painting and an amusing satire of hypocrisy, and it works perfectly with his expressionist style.
But why the hell the picture of the film in rt is that ? It has no connection with the film at all !
