Review of Taps (1981) by Rick P — 21 Dec 2007
This movie I can sit down and watch whenever its on tv. tom cruise even before risky business and the outsiders. hutton was the big name at the time yet was soon overshadowed by both cruise and penn in their respective next flims even in this one they their characters are so much interesting and complex then the straight forward huttons character.
definitely a look back at the reagan era mindset of the early to mid 80's that might lead to something like this actually happening. being from canada we don't really have system of "military private schools" yet I always wanted to attend one as a teen.
this movie had little to do with that.
