Review of Tape (2001) by Kazz L — 14 Apr 2008
Another great linklater film. originally a play, it only has three characters and one setting, a motel room. ethan hawke gives his best performance ever in this film, and a violent, deluded guy who blackmails his (probably) only friend for sleeping with a girl he loves back in high school.
he then invites the girl, played by uma thurman, over to the motel, which brings about its unexecpected conclusion. good stuff all around from one of my fave filmakers.
