Review of Tango & Cash (1989) by Douglas L — 15 Nov 2011
I liked sly taking on the sophisticated role, something we have not seen very often. Its a different buddy cop then I'm used to, they go to prison, but its still highly predictable. These actors make moderate laughs, not known to be straight out comics in film, have some great one liners (esp.
Kurt Russell). The action was pretty sloppy and was shot poorly, this is its major downside, but then again, it was the 80's. I didnt find the action to be a whole lot of fun, which in most buddy cops I enjoy, this is one of the main treats.
All in all a decent watch.
