Cliched buddy cop movie that is mainly kept afloat due to the likeability of Kurt Russell and the over-the-top 80s action. Stallone felt awkward attempting one-liners but it's just not his forte. It isn't great, but the banter between the two is often hilarious and it keeps the film thoroughly entertaining.
