The combination of computer animation, a classic Disney score (though certainly not Alan Menken's best work), and modern-style comedy make Tangled the perfect film for Walt Disney Animation Studios' 50th motion picture.
Far from the studio's best, but the deserved success of this fun-filled and beautifully animated endeavor following The Princess and the Frog was what really pushed WDAS into their New Renaissance.
Overhyped, but still a wonderfully enjoyable experience.
