Review of Tangled (2001) by Jerico T — 16 Apr 2014
What can I say about this film? It's beautiful, dramatic and it perfectly captures human emotion whenever a character's on-screen. Rapunzel is a heart-wrenchingly adorable character as well as beautiful - Every time she's scared, you feel awfully sorry for her! She was so relatable when she was crying that you get the sense that you just want to hug her, like any amazing character will get you to feel.
Flynn is also a hilarious character, charming, a wise-cracker and then plainly rude at times. He's Disney's most realistic male character and I applaud how brilliantly they captured the essence of reality with him.
The two along with the side characters are simply striking in how good they are, and Disney has really made this film one of their best. This is my all-time favourite movie and I certainly hope that it keeps getting the recognition it deserves.
