Originally written December 5, 2010 -- Disney Animation is on Another Creative Resurgence! Featuring the voices of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, Tangled tells the story of a lost, young princess with long magical hair who yearns to leave her secluded tower. Against her mother's wishes, she accepts the aid of a handsome intruder to take her out into the world which she has never seen.

Tangled--the 50th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics feature series--is a visually stunning, thoroughly entertaining addition to the studio's classic animated canon. I loved it! What a fantastic film! After years of seeing other studios raise the bar in animation, Disney seems to be on an amazing creative resurgence yet again! Tangled's Rapunzel rightfully takes her place among the other wonderful Disney princesses in The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty!
