Review of Tampopo (1985) by Robyn C — 20 Jun 2007
This is just fucking sweet. Hilarious story and embedded episodes about the power of food to connect people in a fragmented postmodern era. There is no way to accurately describe this movie in terms of genre, national origin or tone - it defies all explanation - you MUST see it.
and koji yakusho is in it with a young ken watanabe.
